Code of Conduct for Members of Parliament Submitted

After the good governance government took over power, the necessity to have a code of conduct for MPs were felt and it was prepared under the direction of the speaker. It has gone through various stages. It has now been finalized and placed before the parliament today (9) by the Speaker Karu Jeyasuriya.

It will be put for vote in the next few days, parliamentary sources said.
