72nd UN General Assembly Session to Be Attended by President  

72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly session is scheduled be held from September 12 till 25 in United States of America. All heads of state of the UN are expected to attend the General Assembly session.

President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to attend  the UN General Assembly session in an official capacity on September 19.

Since, Maithripala  Sirisena assuming duties as the President of Sri Lanka, this is the third time Sirisena attends the UN General Assembly session.

During the visit the President reported to have  arranged to hold bilateral discussions with several heads of state, who visit to the USA.
