Quarrel Between Dayasiri & Arjuna at Cabinet Meeting

A Cabinet Paper  was  presented by Minister Jayasekera in connection with the re-laying of synthetic race track at the Sugathadasa Sports Complex . When the cabinet paper  was taken for discussion Petroleum Industry Minister Arjuna Ranatunga rose to the occasion and made his observations , which disturbed Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara . Followed by this, a heated argument had erupted between them yesterday, it is learnt.

President Maithripala Sirisena intervened and resolved  the matter amicably.
