Rajitha Wants Sugar, Salt &  Oil Tax to be Increased  to Control Non-Communicable Diseases

Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senarathna while speaking at a function to issue appointment letter to 888 nurses  held at Temple Trees yesterday (11) said, that in order to discourage consumption of sugar, salt and oil, tax on these items should be increased. By doing this  we will be able to control non-communicable diseases in the year 2020.
