JO Demands Removal of Attorney General  

Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) General Secretary Udaya  Gammanpilla said, that  the Joint Opposition has decided to  bring a no confidence motion against the Attorney General  to remove him from the post.

He said, that the no confidence motion will be presented to the Speaker under section 5 of  Act No 2002 of the constitution of Srilanka, which deals with the removal of public officers from their posts.
