Mano’s Open Challenge to Basil

During Mahinda’s regime former Minister Basil Rajapakshe had taken steps to sell several islands in Kalpitty to foreign countries. Minister of National Dialogue Manoganeshan has thrown an open challenge to him
to deny it. Can he prove it wrong? He posed the question.

Previous government had taken steps not only to sell lands, but even sea areas to foreign countries. But current government has not sold even an inch of Srilanka land to foreign countries. But , in order to repay the huge loans taken from foreign countries by the previous regime, the current government has only leased it. He assured this government won’t resort to sell even an inch to foreigners in future, he concluded.
