MOU Between Srilanka & Canada Today

Sri Lanka and Canada are scheduled to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on  support extended by Canada for the National Languages Equality Advancement Project today .

The MoU is due to be signed at the Ministry of National Co-existence, Dialogue and Official Languages with the participation of Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Stéphane Dion.

Meanwhile, Stéphane Dion is due to meet President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera, Governor of the Northern Province Reginald Cooray, Chief Minister CV Wigneswaran and members of civil societies in Srilanka.
