Weather Forecast For 13th October 2017

Prevailing showery and cloudy conditions are expected to continue further and fairly strong winds can be expected over the island and surrounding sea areas during next few days

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Northern provinces and in the Anuradhapura, Galle and Matara districts.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75-100 mm) can be expected at some places.

Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere after 2.00p.m.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
