Rayan Jeyalath Further Remanded

Convener of the Medical Faculty Student Action Committee , Ryan Jayalath was arrested on charges of damaging public property after forcibly entering the Ministry of Health during a protest against the Malabe South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine and remanded . When the case was taken up for inquiry today, he  has been further remanded until  1^st  of November 2017.

The order was issued by Maligakanda Chief Magistrate today (20).
