Salary Increase to CEB Administration Objected by Trade Unions

The Ceylon Electricity Board Trade Union Collective Convenor Ranjan Jayalal charged that the government has on several occasions arbitrarily increased the salaries for the Administration. He further said, that he has received information that Minister of Power and Renewable Energy is preparing to table a Cabinet paper requesting another salary increase for the CEB administration.

He emphatically said, if the cabinet approve it ,  the Ceylon Electricity Board Trade Union Collective  will take  continuous trade union action .
