Northern Train Services Back to Normal From Today

Due to recent derailment on northern railway line between Madawadchi and Parasangaswewa, train services to the north were limited up to Anuradhapura.

Frequent derailments on this line was identified as poor tracks , which has now been repaired. Hence, train services to the Northern Province has commenced from this morning (17). An express train to the North has left Colombo Fort to KKS this morning, Railway Control Room announced.
