Strike Launched by Train Engine Drivers From Last Midnight

The engine drivers are on strike demanding amendment in recruiting procedure adopted in recruiting assistant train engine drivers.

However, the Railway Control Room says office trains from Matara, Galle, Chilaw, and Rambukkana will be operated today (07) despite the strike launched by the train engine drivers.
