Five Senior SLFP Members in the JO to Cross Over to Maithri Faction?

One of the SLFP members in the Joint opposition disclosed to a Colombo media, that five senior members of the SLFP in the Joint Opposition had secret meetings with the President Maithripala Sirisena.

As they have been disappointed over the allocation of wards to contest Local Government election, they have decided to cross over to the Maithri faction during final vote taken on budget in parliament.
