President Challenges Opposition to Debate Bond Report Before 10th February…….

At the   party leaders meeting held in Parliamentary complex, it was decided to take the Presidential Commission report on central bank bond on 20^th and 21^st February after the local government election scheduled on 10^th.

News media reported that the government was instrumental to schedule the debate after the LG election.

On the contrary the President Maithripala Sirisena has challenged main political parties to a debate it before the election, so that it could be revealed to the Public, who is responsible for corruption within the country.

Speaking at a United People’s Freedom Alliance rally in Panadura, the President made the above statement and stressed politicians must be clean.
