Mahinda Ready to Give Evidence Before Presidential Commission on Srilankan & Mihin Lanka

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa while addressing a public gathering in Katunayake yesterday said, that he is prepared to appear before the Presidential Commission appointed to probe into the activities of the Srilankan and Mihin Lanka airlines and give evidence. Apart from him all trade unions will also come forward to give evidence, he said.
He is also interested to know who was responsible for the downfall of both airlines. Easily two new planes could have been purchased with the money paid as compensation for cancelling purchase of planes ordered, he concluded.
