Rajitha Opposed Lifting Ban on Glyphosate

Speaking during the debate on Regulations under the National Medicines Regulatory Authority Act, Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine Dr Rajitha Senaratne said that he strongly opposes the proposed lifting of the ban imposed on the agrochemical Glyphosate.

He further said that the ban should not be reversed. He called upon the other MPs to speak up against such a move.
