CID Seeks Hansard Reports Containing Parliamentary Speeches Made Regarding Murder of Lasantha.

The CID has submitted an interim motion seeking  Hansard reports of Parliamentary speeches made in Parliament in connection with the murder of  Sunday Leader Editor  Lasantha Wickrematunga  for ongoing investigation . This motion was submitted to the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Mohamed Mihail.

Further they sought details in Lasantha Wickrematunga’s bank accounts and details of telephone conversations done by Lasantha from Banks and Telephone service providers respectively. The Magistrate has ordered relevant Authorities, and Managers to provide required details to the Gang Robbery Division of the CID.
