Then Central Bank of Srilanka announced that after considering the immense requests made and the difficulties faced by the general public, a decision was taken to continue to exchange willfully mutilated, altered and defaced currency notes until further notice.
Accordingly general public is informed to submit such currency notes along with the application to the CBSL. Application form is available through CBSL Website (www.cbsl.gov.lk).
