Gammanpila Back Tracks No Confidence Motion Against President

Gammanpila publicly declared that reciting National Anthem in Tamil Language during independence celebrations on 4th February would lead to bring no confidence motion against the President. Tamil National Anthem was also sang in yesterday’s independence celebrations. Many organizations  including foreign missions have appreciated the bold stand taken by the President ,Prime Minister and the Government. Unable to digest this, Gammanpila has told press that now he has abandoned the idea of bringing no confidence motion on President as Parliamentary members are armed with Parliamentary privileges. Flimsy excuse to backtrack?
