Ward Place Road Temporarily Closed Due To Protest

The Colombo Ward Place road   has been temporarily closed due to a protest march organized by the Inter University Bhikku Council carrying out a protest demonstration against removal of the Buddhist philosophy subject from higher education.
As a result of this protest march heavy traffic congestion has been reported in Town Hall and surrounding areas.
