Cabinet Granted Approval to Increase Bus Fares by 12.5%.

The Cabinet has granted its approval to increase bus fares by 12.5%.

However, the minimum bus  fare will also be increased to Rs.12.

The new bus fares are effective from midnight today (22). The Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama said.
