Cabinet Approves Viral Flu Drugs Imports Outside Tender Procedure  

Since last month around 12 children had died due to viral flu which is being spread in the South.  Around 4,00 patients including children are being treated at hospitals.

The Cabinet paper in this connection was submitted by President Maithripala Sirisena.

The cabinet at its’ meeting  held at the Presidential Secretariat today (30) approved to import medicine and other requirements to control the spread of viral flu without following tender procedures.
