TID Summons Northern Provincial Education Minister
Northern Provincial Education Minister, Kandiah Sarveswaran has been summoned by the Terrorists Investigation Division.
He has been called to give a statement in connection with his purported order to have government schools in the North to fly the provincial flag half-mast to commemorate the war-dead on 18th of May.
The Provincial Minister said that he would not report to the TID on 5th of June.
He said that he took that decision, as his name has been misspelled in the letter he received from the TID.
