Special Project to Control Traffic Next Week

Dehiwala Police Station in collaboration with Moratuwa University will launch a special project from next week to control traffic congestion in Colombo and its surrounding areas.

University of Moratuwa Professor, Amal Kumarage said, that this is a temporary procedure, until a formal Public Transport Scheme is developed.

Professor also said that the number plates of vehicles seen in the traffic congestion will be identified with the help of Google Map technology for this project.
