96th National Co-Operative Day Celebrations at Weber Ground In Batticaloa on Saturday

International Co-operative day was first time celebrated in the year 1922.

Co-operative movement in Srilanka plays an important role and contributes much in social, economic and cultural development of Srilankan public.

International Co-operative Establishment was declared on 1^st Saturday of each year as “International Co-operative Day”.

To mark this event, 96th National Co-operative Day is organized on Saturday (7^th) at Weber ground in Batticaloe at 2pm.

The President of Srilanka Maithreepala Sirisena and the Minister of Industry and Commerce scheduled to inaugurate the “National Co-operative Day Celebrations”
