(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Filmmaker James Gunn has been fired as director of the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” at Marvel Studios and Disney Pictures.
The move comes after ten-year-old tweets in which the filmmaker joked about controversial topics such as paedophilia and rape resurfaced over on conservative website The Daily Caller and became a talking point amidst conservative personalities.
Gunn has since deleted his Twitter account.
