(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The All Island Canteen Owners’ Association (AICOA) has decided to increase the price of all bakery products by Rs. 5.00.
AICOA Chairman Asela Sampath stated that the decision was reached following the recent price hike in Palm Oil.
He noted following the 20 per cent tax imposed on Palm Oil, 1 kilogram of Palm Oil that was priced at Rs. 260was increased to Rs. 320.
Accordingly the Chairman stressed that prices of all fast food such as fish buns will increase by Rs. 5.00.
