Disaster Management Center warns to naval and fishing community

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea from Matara to Pothuvil via Hambantota and  Puttalam to Negombo, until 6am tomorrow (3) by Disaster Management Centre (DMC).

Navy also requested to be vigilant in this regards, the advisory said.

The Department of Meteorology warns of heavy rain and strong winds in the Southern, South-eastern and Western Sea areas of the island.
