(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Police Sergeant who was arrested for displaying unruly behaviour in Thebuwana over his OIC releasing a detained sand lorry, granted bail by Matugama Magistrate’s Court today (09).
Earlier, Police Sergeant arrested for displaying unruly behaviour at Thebuwana Junction remanded by Matugama Magistrate’s Court on 04 October.
The Police Sergeant said that although he had apprehended a vehicle that transported sand illegally, he was not given the opportunity to enforce law against the offence.
