A rally was held at Mannar showing support to vanni United National Party (UNP) ministerial candidates
Speaking at this rally, Vanni district leader of UNP Minister Rishard Bathiudeen stated that Tamil leaders work without taking into consideration the plight of the innocent Tamil people.
He pointed out that these leaders work only to strengthen out their families.
Minister Bathiudeen concluded by stating that when he was given power he worked for all the people of the country devoid of their race and should he get appointed again he’d do the same.
