The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Central Committee chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena has agreed to form a national government, SLFP general secretary Duminda Dissanayake said.
A committee headed by former president Chandrika Kumaratunge has been appointed in this regard.
The committee also includes Nimal Siripala De Silva, Sarath Amunugama, Susil Premajayantha, S.B. Dissanayake and Mahinda Samarasinghe.
