(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The possibility for afternoon thundershowers is high, particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western, Central, and Southern Provinces during Sunday (17) and Monday (18), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Western and Uva Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts after 2.00 PM today (16), the Met. Department stressed, adding that several spells of light showers will occur in Hambantota, Ampara, Batticaloa, and Polonnaruwa Districts as well.
