(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Uva, North-Western, North-Central, Western, and Eastern Provinces after 2.00 PM on Wednesday (10), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Vavuniya and Mullaitivu Districts after 2.00 PM.
Fairly heavy falls about 75 millimetres can be expected at some places in, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern Provinces, and severe lightning activities are also possible in those Provinces.
Furthermore, misty conditions can also be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning, the Met. Dept. added.
