(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The Department of Prisons on Friday (05) informed the Court of Appeal that it has not been informed of a decision to execute 4 convicts.
The Department stated that it has no information on the convicts likely to be executed, the date or venue for the executions.
The Department further stressed that the Appeal Court that no convict would be executed until 17 July.
