(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shani Abeysekara has been transferred.
The National Police Commission (NPC), on the request of the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chandana Wickremaratne, transferred SSP Abeysekera as the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police of Galle.
SSP W. Thilakaratne has been appointed as the Director of the CID.
