Mukkabaaz and Gangs of Wasseypur actor “Vineet Kumar Singh” tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend and actress “Ruchiraa Gormaray” in Nagpur on November 29. The wedding was preceded by the haldi and ring ceremony at a resort situated around 40 kms away from Nagpur. Vineet has known Ruchiraa for almost eight years now.

Vineet said, “Ruchiraa and I got married in an intimate Maharashtrian and North Indian ceremony. We met around eight years ago, when she had reached out to me for some work. We started talking to each other occasionally and became friends. She used to like me and proposed first. Many years later, I proposed marriage to her. She has been a part of my life, gone through all my ups and downs for the past eight years. Prior to Mukkabaaz, when I struggled for almost four years meeting producers and talking about my film, she had constantly been around and motivated me. The phase before Mukkabaaz was a tough one and the film changed my life. It gave back my 10 years of struggle and in the process, I also realized that Ruchiraa was my soulmate.”

Ruchiraa, who is also an actress, had a small role in Mukkabaaz. He said, “Ruchiraa has done a film and is doing a web show. She was also a part of Mukkabaaz, had a small role in it. But, I have never spoken about it nor have I spoken about our relationship before we got married.” Talking about how he felt about being married, Vineet said, “I have seen my parents who have been married for more 40 years and I want to follow their values and culture. I believe that if you have good understanding and communication, marriage is a great journey. Besides, Ruchiraa is a very happy soul, in all circumstances, she always tries to stay happy and smiling.”
