Court wants report on CCTV footage within 14 days (Thajudeen case)

Colombo Additional Magistrate Nihantha peiris today ordered the Colombo University to produce a report on the alleged CCTV footage connected to the death of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen within 14 days. The magistrate requested the University to inform the court, if they expect to seek any foreign assistance in their investigations. The CID informed the court that they would submit 4 CDs in connection with the incident to the Colombo University for analysis. The Magistrate also informed that the death of Wasim Thajudeen was suspicious and decision would be announced after considering the other reports.
