ACMC Decided to Vote Against The No Confidence Motion – Rishad
The All Ceylon Makkal Congress high command led by it’s leader Rishad Bathiudeen met the Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe yesterday and discussed about the no confidence motion to be taken up for debate in parliament today (4) and the plight of Muslims in Srilanka especially those who live in Ampara and Digana. The Prime Minster assured the delegation that full compensation will be paid to the victims of Ampara and Digana violence instigated by defeated communal political interests.
After this meeting the high command of the ACMC met last night and discussed relevant issues for about four hours. They identified the purpose of bringing this no confidence motion is clearly indicated to topple the good governance government. Hence, the ACMC has decided to vote against the no confidence motion against the Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe in Parliament today, said Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
