(FASTNEWS | CUBA) – Netflix has released new images of Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik’s upcoming biopic “Blonde” which will debut at the Venice Film Festival.

The NC-17-rated “Blonde” is one of the most anticipated films of the fall season and is based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates, which blends fact and fiction to explore the split between Monroe’s public and private selves.

The shots also show her with Adrien Brody as her husband Arthur Miller, and Bobby Cannavale as Joe DiMaggio.

The film also stars Caspar Phillipson, Evan Williams, Toby Huss, Julianne Nicholson, Lily Fisher, Sara Paxton, David Warshofsky, Xavier Samuel, Michael Masini, Spencer Garrett, Chris Lemmon, Rebecca Wisocky, Scoot McNairy, Dan Butler, Garret Dillahunt, Lucy Devito, and Ned Bellamy.

It was also recently revealed that the film clocks in at a substantial runtime of 165 minutes. “Blonde” will be released globally on Netflix on September 23rd with the film’s next trailer to arrive tomorrow.
