Kate Winslet to enter HBO’s “The Palace”

(FASTNEWS | UNITED KINGDOM) – “Mare of Easttown” actress Kate Winslet will star in and executive produce HBO’s limited series “The Palace,” her fourth four the network.

The story takes place across one year within the walls of the palace of an authoritarian regime as it begins to unravel.

The project hails from “Succession” duo Will Tracy and Frank Rich along with “The Queen” director Stephen Frears. Tracy will serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer.

Late Night TV writers Seth Reiss, Juli Weiner and Jen Spyra will team with New Yorker writer Gary Shteyngart and “Bodies Bodies Bodies” screenwriter Sarah DeLappe on the project.
