Several Cepetco gas stations transformed to private sector

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Petroleum has decided to give a part of the 1250 Cepetco petrol stations to the private sector fuel suppliers.

The progress review meeting of the related program was held yesterday at the Ministry of Power and Energy, under the chairmanship of the minister in charge of the subject, Kanchana Wijesekera.

Among the 24 companies that have come forward under the proposal to give Cepetco petrol stations to the private sector, the opportunity to import, distribute and sell fuel will be given from November.
