Nissanka Summoned to Presidential Commission of Inquiry

Nissanka Senadipati failed to appear before the Commission after he was summoned on three previous occasions. Chairman of Avant Garde Nissanka Senadipati has been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry  again today. This is in connection with  a statement pertaining to an agreement with Rakna Lanka Security Services to be recorded.The Commission of Inquiry said the Chairman had produced medical reports regarding his health condition after he failed to appear before the Commission.

Meanwhile, a group of officers of the North Central Provincial Council have been summoned to the Commission today to record a statement over investigations on  sale of substandard water filters in the North Central Province.

A program was initiated within the North Central Province to distribute water filters due to the kidney disease spreading in the area.
