Basil Contemplates Legal Action Against SF’s Statement

Former Minister, Basil Rajapaksa has vowed to take legal action against Minister, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka regarding  a statement he made.

Minister Fonseka accused him, in parliament, of giving two million US dollars to the LTTE.

Issuing a letter through his lawyer, the former minister says, that he had never committed such an ‘unpatriotic’ crime or carried out any transactions with the former LTTE leader.

In his communique he further stated ,that action will be taken in the future with regard to Sarath Fonseka’s statement.
