Allegations of Sexual Bribe CID seek assistance of the Attorney General

Sexual bribe allegation made by a beneficiary in obtaining a house from India’s Housing Project, which was investigated by the Srilanka Red Cross Society, which cleared the officer from the allegation.

Subsequently Police initiated investigation and filed a report in the Kilinochchi District Court,police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said.

Internal investigation report has been sent to Inspector General of Police.

CID sought the Attorney General’s advice.
