A protest in front of Galle District Secretariat Demanding Water

In front of Galle District Secretariat Office, the residents of  Poddala area in Bope staged a protest this morning (January 25).Residents have been experiencing difficulty  in getting pure water.

The protest was held by residents due to water cut for 12- hours since a period of one year.

Residents  complained that they get muddy water during and after each water cut. Residents protest demanded a proper solution to resolve this water crisis.
