PM Sajitha Vaas has been further remanded till the 17th of July under accusations of using 23 vehicles belonging to the former President’soffice by Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage.
Sajith Vaas has asked for bail claiming of a Phlegm problem that he has been ailing from since 2011. However the magistrate has rejected this by saying that he has gotten treatment for this in 2013 and that there are no reports of medical treatment since.
