MR will definitely contest

Ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa would unquestionably contest the impending General Elections as a Prime Ministerial candidate, his spokesperson Rohan Weliwita a short while ago stated that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was yet to take final decision under which party he would contest.

Adding further, he stated that the former President was positive that he would be given nomination by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) to contest under the United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) or the People’s Alliance (PA).
