Chandrika Blast On Mahinda Responded

Death anniversary of Srilanka Mahajana Party Leader , Vijaya Kumarathunga was observed by two groups. One led by Chandrika Kumarathunga .

The other group led by Mahinda backed by  joint opposition members of parliament.

At the end of the ceremony, when Chandrika was confronted by journalist,  Chandrika blasted Mahinda for observing death anniversary of Vijaya, on the grounds that he has harassed Vijaya when he was living. Further she said that Mahinda did not attend Vijaya’s funeral.

Response came from the founder member of the Srilanka Mahajana Party Political Bureau. Premasiri Perera. He said that,Mahinda maintained good relation ship with Vijaya and attended the funeral. Further he said that,he was the head of funeral arrangement committee then.
