Showers in Several Places in Srilanka Today

Press release from meteorology Department reads thus :

“Few showers will occur in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwaand Central provinces after 4.00 pm.

Misty conditions are expected in some places during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity”.
