Govt.Agreed to Remove Control Price on 10 Essential Goods
The Government agreed to remove control prices on 10 essential goods. said Chairman of essential retail goods Association, Bandula Jeyamanne.
Anchovies, Dhal, Sugar, WheatFlour, Lentils, Coriander, Maldive fish, Turmeric powder, Dried Chilli and black gram are the goods on which price control will be removed.However, Consumer Protection Authority Chairman, Hasitha Thilakaratne stated that he is not aware of any such decision and the Ministry was not informed about it.
